Weekend Yard Sale---7mm Mauser and AK47
 

One of many yard sales in my neighborhood this past weekend yielded a man selling a 7mm Mauser and an AK47. He also had 6 ammo boxes of ammo. He wanted $500 for the AK and 350 for the Mauser. He assured me that he wasn't disarming just wanted to sell. I was not in the market nor did I have that amount of money.

Do you know if he still has the AK by any chance, and what make it was? I am in North Florida but would definitely make the drive for a gun.

These days that's a damn good price for the AK.
Mauser is overpriced.

After the gun bubble burst you'll get a decent deal on just about anything.

Buy ammo instead.

No, I didn't know the guy nor his address specifically--except the subdivision we drove around in. Didn't really check it out. It looked like it was in good shape--but again I didn't even allow myself to be temped.

With regards to long guns and mags, I think that supply is starting to catch up to demand.

Both seem to be fairly plentiful on gunbroker and a lot of manufacturers and retailers seem to be back to shipping orders in 24 to 48 hours.

All of the popular calibers of ammo are still scarce, which suggests that the gun buying masses have focused their spending on that instead.
